Preston North End supporters who purchased tickets for the friendly against Manchester United will receive a refund.
The fixture was unfortunately cancelled on Thursday after a number of suspected Covid cases were identified in the United squad.
Supporters who purchased tickets for the game either via phone or online have automatically received a refund to the card they used to purchase.
If you purchased by card in person at the ticket office or you paid in cash, please contact the ticket office on 0344 856 1966 or email email@example.com to arrange your refund.Those who purchased a car park space for this fixture will also receive a refund in the same way.
Supporters who purchased hospitality for this fixture will be contacted directly by the commercial team to process their refund.
After discussions between the two clubs, Preston North End and Manchester United have made the following statement:
"Following the cancellation of the Manchester United v Preston North End fixture this weekend due to unavoidable precautions around Covid-19, both clubs regret any inconvenience and disappointment caused to fans. The clubs will endeavour to find a mutually agreeable date to play each other in the future."
As a club we are disappointed for our supporters that they are unable to make their return to Deepdale this weekend but we look forward to welcoming many of you back for our opening home game of the season against Hull City next Saturday.
