Preston North End’s squad numbers for the 2021/22 campaign can now be confirmed!
With the start of the season just over a week away, squad numbers have been finalised and there are new numbers for the likes of Greg Cunningham, Ben Whiteman and Ched Evans.
After re-joining the club in January, Cunningham wore the No.37 shirt but this season he will be back in the No.3 shirt, which he wore during his first spell at the club.
Midfielder Ben Whiteman will wear the No.4 shirt for the new campaign, with young midfielder Lewis Leigh taking the No.17 vacated by Whiteman.
Ched Evans has led the line on many occasions since joining the club at the start of the year and will take the No.9 shirt at North End.
Summer signings Sepp van den Berg and Liam Lindsay retain the No.2 and No.6 shirts respectively after rejoining following their loan spells last season, while Izzy Brown has the No.20 shirt with Matthew Olosunde wearing No.22.
