Academy midfielder Mikey O’Neill has been nominated for the April LFE Goal of the Month Award for his stunner against Oldham Athletic.
The first-year scholar came off the bench and 30 seconds later completed North End’s turnaround against the Latics with a fantastic volley from the edge of the box in a 4-2 victory away from home.
Nick Harrison's side had fallen behind twice in the game, but three goals in the second half saw PNE take the three points in the North West Youth Alliance League.
