Preston North End have completed their retained list at the end of the 2020/21 season.
At the end of their contracts, Louis Moult and Billy Bodin will both leave the club, along with Josh Ginnelly, Graham Burke and David Nugent, who ended their spells out on loan.
Moult joined the club from Motherwell in January 2018, going on to score eight goals in 40 appearances, including memorable strikes in derbies versus Wigan and Blackburn and the winner at Nottingham Forest.
Welshman Bodin, also had a habit of scoring at the City Ground, including his first of four goals in his 44 games, having signed just two days after Moult from Bristol Rovers, three years ago.
Paul Gallagher, as was announced on Monday, will join the coaching staff under new head coach Frankie McAvoy, as first team coach.
All five of the club’s loan players, Daniel Iversen, Sepp van den Berg, Liam Lindsay, Anthony Gordon and Jayson Molumby return to their parent clubs with the thanks of everyone at Preston North End.
On the Academy side of the list, it has been announced that Jacob Holland-Wilkinson, Lewis Coulton, Joe Rodwell-Grant and Oliver Lombard have earned professional contracts.
Kyi Nicholson, Ben Dooley and Harry Huddart will all leave the club after the completion of their scholarships and the club again wishes them the very best in the future.
Preston North End would like to thank all the players who are leaving the club for their efforts during their time at Deepdale and wish them the very best in their future careers in the game.
