Connor Ripley has returned to Preston North End following six weeks with League Two side Salford City.
The goalkeeper initially joined the Ammies on a week-long emergency loan, but given the length of injury to Salford shot-stopper Tom King, this deal was extended on a week-by-week basis.
During his time with Gary Bowyer’s side, Ripley impressed in between the sticks, featuring nine times in all competitions and keeping four clean sheets in that period.
King has since returned to fitness for Salford, so Ripley is now back training with the PNE squad at Euxton and he will be eligible for the upcoming Central League fixtures.
