Have a look at our gallery above from Saturday afternoon where over 18,000 supporters came to Deepdale to celebrate the life of Mr Hemmings.
There were tributes paid to the club's owner everywhere you looked, with the corner flags displaying yellow and green quarters, the matchday programme (available to purchase here) featuring messages from those who knew Mr Hemmings, while many supporters fittingly showed up wearing flat caps.
That was a trademark of the man himself, and in tribute to that, club captain Alan Browne placed one of Mr Hemmings' caps on the centre circle before a minute's applause by all those inside the stadium.
Thank you, boss!
