Lancashire Senior Cup First Round Moved To Euxton

8 October 2021

Preston North End’s Lancashire Senior Cup tie against Rochdale on Tuesday 12th October has been moved to the Euxton training ground.

The first round match was originally set to take place at the Crown Oil Arena, but it will now be Rochdale making the trip to Euxton, with the game kicking off at 2pm.

In this competition, clubs must play at least six players with professional contracts, and a penalty shootout will decide the winner in the event that the game is drawn after 90 minutes.

Supporters will be able to attend the fixture, with entry permitted from 1pm. There is no charge to attend, although there will be a donation bucket for the Preston North End Community and Education Trust.

Entry is through the wooden gates, located on the right-hand side once you have come through the entrance off Euxton Lane and before you reach the barrier.

Unfortunately there is no parking available on site at the training ground, and supporters are not able to park on the nursery access road opposite. There is a bus stop just outside of the training ground for supporters travelling by public transport, or alternatively there is a free shuttle bus service available from both Deepdale and Leyland.

Tickets for that service must be booked in advance, either online at mypne.com, in person from the ticket office or by emailing ticketoffice@pne.com. Pick up points are from the Invincibles Pavilion side of the stadium from Deepdale and from Tesco in Leyland.

Please note that there will be toilet facilities available to supporters onsite, however unfortunately there will be no refreshments available to purchase.
