There is only one man fit to be on the cover of The One And Only this weekend, and that is our owner Mr Trevor Hemmings, who sadly passed away earlier this week.
We have collated a selection of tributes which have been made to Mr Hemmings in the past few days, from a huge spectrum of people across different generations, from current players and those who used to represent PNE to those involved in horse racing and even HRH The Princess Royal.
Peter Ridsdale and Frankie McAvoy also pay their respects in heartfelt tributes to the man they worked so closely with.
Also in this edition of The One And Only, we have our usual extended interview with a current member of the squad, and this week it’s Josh Murphy who discusses his new life up north, currently living out of a hotel in Preston.
On that, Josh said: “It’s definitely different! I’ve quite enjoyed it, I’m still living in a hotel at the moment and trying to find a place to live, but it’s nice and I’m really enjoying it.
“I was living in the city in Cardiff, so there’s a lot more going on there, so it’s been different, but it’s been nice to settle in here and find my feet.
“Obviously the first couple of days always feels like your first day at school so once that ice was broken it was good. I feel settled in now, a part of the team and it’s just exciting, hopefully there’s better times to come too.
“It was quite quick and easy to settle in. It’s a great club and a great set of lads so it’s been an easy fit.”
