Ali McCann has received a call-up to the Northern Ireland national team for their World Cup qualifiers in October.
The midfielder, who joined Preston North End the last time he was away with his country, has earned eight caps for the Green and White Army to this point and will get the chance to reach double figures in the upcoming break.
Ian Baraclough’s side continue their qualification campaign for the 2022 World Cup with ties away to Switzerland and Bulgaria on Saturday 9th October and Tuesday 12th October respectively, with both games kicking off at 7.45pm.
Northern Ireland currently sit third in their group with five points, with Italy and Switzerland occupying the top two in Group C.
