Fresh from the Carabao Cup fourth round draw which set up a tie between Liverpool and PNE, on-loan defender Sepp van den Berg is our featured interview in the latest edition of The One And Only!
While the people of Preston no doubt jumped from their sofas in celebration when Micah Richards pulled out No.14 to confirm the game at Deepdale, Sepp had forgotten the draw was taking place, never mind that North End had been drawn at home to his parent club.
Speaking to The One and Only, the Dutchman said: “I was already laying in bed when the draw was made and then I saw the group chat go crazy!
“You can see everyone is excited. I think it's a very good game for the fans, for the club, for everyone basically, so I’m really looking forward to it.
“Lots of people have been asking me if I'm allowed to play, but everyone is just happy. There are a few big Liverpool fans here as well so I think they will be buzzing, so it's a very good game for everyone to play.”
The 19-year-old talks about much more in his full interview in the programme, including his time with the Netherlands U21s, more about the Liverpool game and feeling at home with PNE.
Also in the Stoke programme, Jordan Storey talks about his new contract, Alan Browne walks us through his favourite things, while Josh Earl answers fan questions.
There’s so much more in the 84-page programme, which you can order here to receive straight to your doorstep, or alternatively pick up your copy from Deepdale on Tuesday night for just £3.50.
