Important Information Ahead Of Blackpool Fixture

4 April 2022

All supporters attending Tuesday night's fixture against Blackpool at Deepdale should please be aware of the following information.

There will be a significant policing operation in place as the two sides meet at Deepdale for the first time since August 2013.

In order for us to ensure a safe and enjoyable matchday experience, a series of cordons will be implemented around the away turnstiles to ensure this area remains secure.

The cordons (pictured below) will be in place from 5.30pm on matchday and will remain in place until after the away supporters coaches have departed. Any residents in the local area who are effected by these arrangements have been informed via letter.

Away supporters will only be able to access the away turnstiles via the Blackpool Road junction with Lowthorpe Road, where ticket checks will be undertaken by staff; supporters without tickets will not be able to access this area before, during or after the match.

Blackpool supporters travelling by coach will be met at a pre-arranged location and escorted into the cordoned area with the coaches remaining there for the duration of the operation.

PNE fans are asked to use alternative routes to and from the stadium and turnstiles on the night and we apologise for any inconvenience caused, but the aim of the operation is to ensure the safety of all those attending the match.

Supporters who require access to the Invincibles car park will still be able to access this, however this will need to be accessed via St Gregory's Road.

Thank you in advance to all supporters for their cooperation.
