Preston North End legends will come together once again this year in a charity match against the Bamber Bridge Vets.
The likes of Paul Gallagher and John Welsh will be lacing up their boots once again for the match on Sunday 1st May, with more names to be announced ahead of the game!
The match will take place at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium with a 2pm kick-off, and there will be plenty of entertainment for the whole family, making it the perfect day out over the Bank Holiday weekend.
There will be live entertainment, activities for children, a raffle and plenty more as well as the match itself!
A Preston North End legends Xl took on the Vets last summer to raise money in aid of former Brig player George Melling and research into motor neurone disease.
George sadly passed away earlier this month from the disease after a long and courageous battle and the thoughts of everyone at the club are with George's family and friends at this terribly sad time.
This year's event is in aid of St Catherine's Hospice, a local hospice that provides care for adults in Chorley, Preston and South Ribble who have a life-shortening condition.
St Catherine's work with patients and their families to support them in any way they can and we are proud to be supporting this fantastic cause through this event.
Gates will open from 12noon and admission on the day will be by donation to the charity, with a suggested donation of £5 for adults. If you can't attend, you can still show your support by donating online by clicking here.
