PNE Launch Matchday Supporter Service

8 April 2022

Preston North End are launching a new text service on matchdays for supporters to report any form of abuse, discrimination or anti-social behaviour at Deepdale.

The club prides itself on providing an inclusive and family-friendly atmosphere at the ground, while also encouraging passionate support from the fans.

However, the club has a zero-tolerance policy with regards to discrimination, abuse, foul and abusive language, or anti-social or threatening behaviour towards anyone in the stadium.

In a continued effort to eradicate any such behaviour at Deepdale, the club have introduced a live text service on home matchdays, giving supporters the opportunity to identify anti-social behaviour taking place close to them in the stadium.

If you are witness to, or subject of, any offensive, homophobic or discriminatory language or anti-social behaviour at Deepdale then please speak to your nearest steward.

Alternatively supporters can use the text service by texting ‘PNE’ to 66777 followed by your stand, row and seat number and also identify the location of the anti-social behaviour, being as precise as possible. For example, text “PNE I’m in the Alan Kelly Town End, row 10, seat 34. Male sitting directly in front of me shouting racist abuse,” to 66777.

The club will then make every effort to deal with the problem as quickly as possible and you will not be identified at any time.

We hope this service is required as little as possible and that together we can create a safer and more enjoyable matchday experience for all supporters.
