Preston North End’s Central League fixtures for the 2022/23 season have now been confirmed.
PNE will once again take part in the Central League, after being crowned champions at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
During the upcoming season, all home games will be played at Springfields, and as per last season, supporters will be able to attend all home fixtures, and details of access to these games will be confirmed prior to each match. As with youth team fixtures at this venue, toilet facilities will be available to spectators.
North End will also compete in the Central League Cup again, with Stoke City, Wigan Athletic and Wrexham making up the group. Each team will face each other once in the group stages, with the winner of each group and the best-placed runner up across the three groups progressing to the knock-out stage.
PNE also still have the 2021/22 Central League Cup final against Burnley to play, and conversations are ongoing between the clubs and organisers as to when this game will be played. An announcement will be made once this has been agreed.
