A Message On Behalf Of PNE-Online And North End Soul

17 August 2022

Following the introduction of flags to Deepdale in the opening two home games of the season, PNE-Online and North End Soul wish to pass the following message on to supporters.

PNE-Online and North End Soul would like to thank the vast majority of fans on the Alan Kelly Town End and Bill Shankly Kop who have supported our efforts in improving the atmosphere at Deepdale in the first couple of home games.

The images against Hull City and again last night against Rotherham United looked brilliant, and we know it is appreciated by Ryan Lowe and the team.

Our members are giving up hours of their free time to enable the community-funded flags to be available to fans in both stands and eventually across all four sides at Deepdale.

However, this is only possible with your continued support in returning the flags at the end of each game. We know it is only a very small minority who have not done this, and we are aware it’s a new scheme and it may take time for the system to work.

However, we simply cannot afford both financially and in volunteers’ time to replace flags after every game.

We are working through the flags to secure them more permanently to the poles and we certainly do not want to have to put appeals out after every home match.

We continue to fundraise and are currently planning a special display for the first Lancashire derby of the season.

If you would like to support us in any way by drumming, giant flag waving or helping on matchdays, please contact @pneonline or @northendsoul1880 on Twitter.

Come On You Whites!
