Young defender Josh Seary has joined Warrington Town on a three-month loan deal.
Seary, a second-year scholar at Preston North End on professional terms, will gain experience of senior football in the Northern Premier League until his loan expires on 12th November.
The 17-year-old right back, who has featured in the youth age groups for Republic of Ireland, played a key role in the success of the U19s’ double-winning campaign last term, and also featured in pre-season for the first team.
Heading to Warrington, Seary joins a side where his PNE teammate Lewis Coulton spent time at the end of last season, as the Yellows fell narrowly short of promotion in the Play-Offs.
Warrington Town begin their league campaign on Saturday afternoon at home to Morpeth Town.
