Preston North End are pleased to announce online fan engagement platform, MatchWornShirt, as our latest partner.
The club are delighted to launch the partnership this evening with MatchWornShirt proudly displayed on the first team shirts for the first time as sleeve sponsor for our second round Carabao Cup tie against Wolves.
Bringing supporters closer to the game than ever before and providing the chance to be a part of history, MatchWornShirt is the home of authentic sporting memorabilia.
The new partnership between the Lilywhites and MatchWornShirt will give fans the opportunity to own the shirts of their favourite players fresh from the pitch over the course of the 22/23 season.
This partnership sees Preston North End join a community of football clubs from all over the world in providing their supporters with the opportunity to get their hands on the ultimate fan item – a match worn and signed shirt – straight from kick-off of the game.
Speaking on the deal, PNE's senior commercial manager Lisa Whittaker said:
“This is an exciting new partnership for the club and we are delighted to have MatchWornShirt on board as an official partner of Preston North End.
“We are delighted to be able to launch the partnership at tonight’s Carabao Cup tie against Wolves with the team proudly displaying the MatchWornShirt logo on their sleeves.
“We have worked with MatchWornShirt previously which has been very successful and we look forward to building on the relationship going forward with plenty of opportunities for our supporters to get their hands on the matchworn shirts of their heroes.”
Head of Business Development, James Flude commented: “It’s with great pride that we enter into this partnership with Preston North End. The pride and passion the supporters show week in, week out is clear to see and we’re really looking forward to providing them the chance to get closer to the action than ever before.”
