Finlay Cross-Adair has been included in the League Football Education’s ‘The 11’ for December 2022.
His selection by LFE is in recognition of both his performances on the pitch and in the classroom, while other factors such as involvement in community initiatives are also considered.
It’s been quite a month for the 17-year-old who grew up supporting North End, having put pen to paper on his first professional contract with the club.
Finlay, who made his senior debut against Stoke City in October, has also earned two more appearances with the first team, coming off the bench in the 4-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers, before then playing 22 minutes against Queens Park Rangers.
His involvement with the first team could well have seen the teenager fall behind with his work at school, but he remains on track to meet his target BTEC grade.
