When Huddersfield Town come to Deepdale on Boxing Day, we will take the opportunity to remember all those associated with Preston North End who we have sadly lost in the last 12 months.
In the final home game of each calendar year, we pay respect to those who have passed away, and this season that fixture falls on 26th December, when we take on Huddersfield Town at home.
There will be a minute’s silence held prior to kick-off, during which the names of those who are sadly no longer with us – whether that be former players, supporters or those connected to the club in a different way – will be shown on the stadium’s big screen.
We welcome supporters to email media@pne.com with the subject ‘2022 Tribute’ with the names of any North End fans who we have sadly lost during the calendar year. Supporters are asked to please send through these names by 5pm on Thursday 22nd December.
