Celebrate Flag Day In The Kop Against Reading!

9 February 2022

With the Kop reopening to our supporters for our Championship game against Reading later in the month, PNE fans are being encouraged to celebrate the occasion by joining in with a ‘Flag Day’!

The Kop will be open to PNE fans for our fixture against the Royals on Saturday 19th February as part of a trial, and supporter groups are looking to mark the occasion in style, with fans being urged to decorate the stand with flags of new and old!

Many supporters may well remember the fantastic atmosphere created when fans enjoyed a similar day back in 1992, when the Town End was reopened to PNE supporters for a game against Swansea City.

After consultation with supporter groups, as a club we are fully on board with recreating this occasion for our game against Reading and we hope as many fans as possible can join in with what is set to be a fantastic day at Deepdale.

Supporters will be able to bring their flags to the stewards reception at Deepdale from 12noon on the day of the game, which is located at the back of the Bill Shankly Kop. Please note that any flags being used must have a valid fire safety certificate and any flags of discrimnatory, political or commercial nature will not be permitted.

Tickets in the Kop for this fixture are available to buy now online from www.mypne.com, over the phone on 0344 856 1966 and in person from the ticket office.

Season card holders can also relocate to the Kop for this game if they wish, by calling 0344 856 1966 or by visiting the ticket office at Deepdale.

Usual matchday prices apply for this fixture, with tickets in the Kop priced the same as those in the Alan Kelly Town End.

Come on you Whites!
