Preston North End will host Liverpool in the second round of the Lancashire FA Senior Cup on Tuesday 8th March.
North End, who progressed in the opening stage of the competition with a 2-0 victory over Rochdale, will host the Reds at the Euxton training ground for a 2pm kick-off.
Supporters will be able to watch the fixture free of charge at the training ground, with the same arrangements as for Central League games, with full details to be communicated nearer the time.
Clubs in the Lancashire Senior Cup are required to play at least six players with professional contracts.
In the event of a draw after 90 minutes, there will be no extra-time played with the tie going straight to a penalty shootout to decide the winner.
The draw for the third round, the semi-final, has already been made, with the winner of this fixture set to host Blackpool in the next stage of the competition.
