Daniel Johnson will be unavailable for Preston North End’s next three fixtures after being selected to represent Jamaica for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
DJ will join his national side to take on Mexico, Panama and Costa Rica in the next ten days as Jamaica look to earn themselves a place at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
The Reggae Boyz currently sit sixth in their qualification group and seven points off a Play-Off position, with six qualifiers left to play.
As a result of selection, the Jamaican will miss PNE’s fixtures against West Brom, Bristol City and Millwall before returning to England to be in contention to face Hull City on 5th February.
Good luck, DJ!
