How To Follow Cardiff City FA Cup Tie

6 January 2022

While supporters are unfortunately unable to attend Sunday’s Emirates FA Cup third round tie against Cardiff City, there are still plenty of ways that you can follow the match from home.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions currently in place in Wales, Sunday’s 2pm kick-off will be played without fans inside the Cardiff City Stadium.

As this is an Emirates FA Cup fixture, there is no live video stream available to watch on iFollow PNE anywhere in the world, but fans can listen to the game on iFollow PNE, with commentary coming from Simon Crabtree and Rob Edwards. Match passes are available for just £2.50, while you can also purchase a monthly pass for £4.49 by clicking here.

We will also be providing our usual coverage across our social media channels – Twitter, Facebook and Instagram – and there will be live updates on our match centre here on PNE.Com.

How To Watch The Game

Elsewhere, the game will be available to watch live on free-to-air television through Welsh broadcaster S4C.

S4C’s coverage will get underway at 1.45pm on Sunday afternoon and, while the main coverage will be Welsh-spoken, there is English commentary available from former Wales international Joe Ledley via the red button.

Outside of Wales, S4C is available on the following channels: Sky 134, Freesat 120 and Virgin TV 166.

For Sky Q users, instead of pressing the red button you will need to press your home button. Then go to ‘Settings’, press the right arrow, then 'Set Up', 'Preferences', 'Audio Language' and change it to 'Welsh'. Once you have done this, the English commentary will kick in automatically every time it’s available in the future.

The match will also be available to watch on S4C’s on demand player, S4C Clic, which is available on any smart device or computer, by going to www.s4c.cymru/clic, or by downloading the S4C Clic App from the App Store on an Apple device, or Google Play on an Android device.

Supporters will need to create a free account to access the on demand player S4C Clic. Here's how you can create an account:

  • Go to www.s4c.cymru/clic and click 'English' on the top right of the screen to switch language.
  • Click 'Sign Up Now' and enter your name, email address and chosen password, and then click ‘Next’.
  • Set up your account via the confirmation email you should receive and you will then be ready to watch.

Supporters having difficulties accessing this service can contact the S4C Viewers Hotline for assistance by calling 0370 600 4141 or by emailing gwifren@s4c.cymru.
