Kop To Be Opened For Reading Fixture

21 January 2022

The Bill Shankly Kop will be open to home supporters for the visit of Reading on Saturday 19th February.

The Kop has primarily housed away fans over the last decade but was previously open to Preston North End supporters. The club understands that supporters enjoyed the matchday experience in the Kop and therefore after demand from the North End faithful in recent times, we are looking to trial home fans in this stand for our upcoming fixture against Reading.

Supporters will be able to purchase match tickets in the Kop for this game when tickets for the fixture go on sale at 9am on Monday 24th January.

Season card holders who wish to relocate to the Kop for this game will be able to do so, and call 0344 856 1966 or visit the ticket office at Deepdale to arrange this.

Usual matchday prices will apply for this fixture with tickets in the Kop priced the same as those in the Alan Kelly Town End.

The club recently announced that the Kop would also be open for the Blackpool fixture in April which has proved extremely popular in the first few days of sales, with only limited seats now available to home supporters in that stand.

Please note that aside from the Blackpool fixture in April, the option for home supporters to buy in the Kop will be for the Reading fixture only at this stage.

Tickets will also go on sale on Monday 24th January for our home game a few days later when Nottingham Forest visit Deepdale, however only the usual three home stands will be available to Preston North End supporters.
