With the beginning of the Sky Bet Championship season fast approaching, squad numbers for Preston North End’s first team have been confirmed.
The four new signings have all had their numbers finalised, while there have also been changes for existing members of the squad, including Daniel Johnson.
DJ has worn No.11 on his back for the past seven seasons, however he will pull on the No.10 shirt during the 2022/23 campaign.
That has opened up space for new signing Robbie Brady to take over the No.11 shirt, whereas Ben Woodburn will wear No.20.
Goalkeeper Freddie Woodman, who signed earlier in the month from Newcastle United, has taken on the No.1 jersey, with fellow goalkeeper Dai Cornell wearing 25.
Bambo Diaby has changed from No.41 to No.23, while youngsters Dana Amaral and James Pradic have been assigned No.30 and No.38 respectively.
