Preston North End will find out their Carabao Cup first round opponents on Thursday 23rd June.
The draw for the opening stage of the competition will take place at 2.30pm live on Sky Sports News, following the release of the Championship fixture list at 9am earlier that day.
There will be a total of 35 ties taking place in the first round of the competition, with games scheduled for the week commencing 8th August.
Burnley, Watford and all Premier League clubs not competing in Europe during the 2022/23 season will join in round two.
Those set to play in Europe next season, the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool, will then join in the third round.
