Preston North End will be ball number 24 in Thursday’s Carabao Cup round one draw.
The draw, which will take place live on Sky Sports at 2.30pm on Thursday 23rd June, will be split into northern and southern sections.
There are 35 potential opponents which PNE could face in the opening round of the competition, including newly-promoted sides Grimsby Town and Stockport County.
Every EFL club, except from Burnley and Watford, will take part in the first round, while all Premier League clubs not competing in Europe in the upcoming campaign will join in round two. Then joining in the third round will be those playing European football next season.
