Preston North End defender Harry Nevin has joined up with the Republic of Ireland U19s squad ahead of a double header against Iceland.
Nevin, who captained PNE U19s to a league and cup double last season, has flown out to Spain with his country ready for a couple of international matches.
The central defender could feature on Wednesday evening, as Tom Mohan’s side take on Iceland in Pinatar, Spain at 5.30pm on 1st June.
They will then take on the same opposition on Saturday 4th June at 3pm at the same location.
Harry, whose professional contract with PNE begins this summer, features in a squad made up of players from the likes of Inter Milan and several Premier League outfits.
He will be hoping to impress his boss ahead of September's qualifiers for the European Championships.
