At the request of the midfielder, Preston North End have agreed to terminate the contract of Tom Bayliss.
Bayliss, who joined PNE from Coventry City in 2019, will now be free to join another club ahead of the new season.
The 23-year-old made 21 appearances during his time at Deepdale, scoring once in the Gentry Day victory over Nottingham Forest in May 2021.
He spent the last campaign on loan with Wigan Athletic, making eight league appearances for the Latics who earned promotion to the Championship.
