Back PNE’s Loan Players On Non-League Day

24 March 2022

While it’s another weekend without a first team fixture, you can still get your football fix by celebrating Non-League Day and watching some of our loan players in action!

Non-League Day, which has been assigned to Saturday 26th March, have teamed up with Prostate Cancer UK for an eighth year, looking to raise both money and life-saving awareness for the most common cancer in men.

There are six games this weekend which could include some of our players out on loan, with a few of the host clubs offering discounted tickets to PNE season card holders! All you need to do is take your season card with you to the game to take advantage of any offers.

Lancaster City, where Joe Rodwell-Grant and Joe Blanchard are currently plying their trade, are offering free tickets for U18s and £5 entry for PNE season card holders, who just need to bring their season card to show on entry.

Basford United, who are hosting Bamber Bridge where Mathew Hudson is on loan, are offering £7 tickets for EFL season card holders.

Oliver Lombard, currently playing for City of Liverpool, heads to his former side Kendal Town where tickets are £5 for season card holders.

Elsewhere, Jamie Thomas heads south to face King’s Lynn Town with Halifax Town in the National League, and adult tickets start at £18.

Jack Baxter’s Radcliffe host Warrington Town – who will be without Lewis Coulton due to international duty – and adult tickets are priced at £10.

Teddy Mfuni will be hoping to make his second appearance for Witton Albion when they face Buxton, and they have put on a two-for-one deal, while U18s with a paying adult gain free entry.

Aside from the playing squad’s representation on the weekend of Non-League Day, Preston North End Community and Education Trust post-16 curriculum lead Zach Clark will be also involved in a coaching capacity in his role as Garstang manager.

Garstang host Nelson in a 7.45pm kick-off on Friday night, and all paying spectators are being offered a free hot drink, with tickets priced at £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.

All of the above fixtures kick off at 3pm on Saturday 26th March, unless otherwise stated.
