Alan Browne has been named in the Republic of Ireland’s international squad for their friendlies in April.
The Preston North End captain could come up against FIFA’s top-ranked nation Belgium when they welcome the Red Devils to the Aviva Stadium for a 5pm kick-off on Saturday 26th March.
Stephen Kenny’s men will then host Lithuania on Tuesday 29th March at the same venue, with the match kicking off at 7.45pm.
Browne has already made 17 appearances for his country since his debut in 2017 and he will be aiming to add to that tally during the break.
