He gives an extremely transparent, in-depth interview about his life to this point, including his move from Africa to Europe at a young age, playing football to provide for his family and his time at Deepdale so far.

Also in the programme, Ched Evans talks becoming a father-of-three, while skipper Alan Browne answers your questions. Ryan Ledson and Ali McCann take part in other player features.

You can buy a copy of The One And Only from around the ground on Saturday for £3.50, and you can also order a copy to arrive to your home by clicking here.

For some, football is merely a pipe dream. For the lucky few, it becomes a reality. Most play purely for their love of the game, while for others it means so much more.

Senegal-born Bambo Diaby certainly never lacked the passion for football, but always saw a route into the professional game as unachievable.

Now he’s there and his mind is clear: work hard, make the most of every opportunity and provide for his family.

“Ever since I was a kid, I have taken a big responsibility for my family,” he told The One And Only.

“My mentality is always trying to help them because they have lived many difficult moments.

“My dad is old and working so hard to try to help us, to give us an opportunity in this life, and he gives everything.

“I promised myself ‘Bambo you will be a footballer and you will help your family’, because it’s hard when you get home, open the fridge and don’t see anything.

“But I don’t think ‘oh Bambo you don’t have anything’. This motivated me a lot to think ‘you need to do something for your family’, to help them.”

There's loads more from the PNE man in the full programme, which you can buy around the ground on Saturday for £3.50 or order here.
