Preston North End have activated the option to extend the contracts of both Lewis Coulton and Dana Amaral by a year.
Coulton, who signed a one-year professional contract in May 2021, will now stay at the club until at least the summer of 2023.
The full back has featured regularly in the Central League for PNE this season, while gaining experience on loan deals with Bamber Bridge and Warrington Town, and he recently helped the latter reach the Northern Premier League Play-Off final.
Meanwhile, the club have exercised the option to retain midfielder Amaral’s services for a further year.
Amaral, who has played a key part in the U19s’ league and cup success this season, joins fellow second-year scholars Aaron Bennett and Mikey O’Neill in extending their deals at the club.
