Preston North End Remembers

11 November 2022

This match is our annual Remembrance fixture as we honour those who serve or have served their lives in battle.

There will be plenty going on around the ground before the match to mark the occasion, with military personnel from the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment set to lead the teams out, before a period of silence and a performance of The Last Post.

Supporters are encouraged to arrive at the ground and to take their seats as early as possible ahead of these activities.

Money will also be raised on the day for Royal British Legion, with Royal Air Force Cadets collecting around the ground, while a matchworn shirt auction will go live from 3pm for fans to bid on from around the world.

Shuttle Bus Service

The matchday shuttle bus, which runs from Leyland through Bamber Bridge on its way to the stadium, will be running for this fixture.

Return tickets cost £5, with fans able to pay the driver on-board, and timings for the service can be found below.

Leyland Tesco (Stop A – Car Park) – 1.20pm
The Railway Pub, Leyland – 1.30pm
Ye Olde Hob Inn, Bamber Bridge – 1.35pm
Beam and Brycg Pub, Bamber Bridge – 1.40pm

Swap To The Kop

The Bill Shankly Kop is open to PNE supporters for this fixture, and season card holders are able to relocate their seat for this game.

You can do so by either visiting the ticket office or calling 0344 856 1966, while non-season card holders can buy tickets online from www.mypne.com.

Tickets in the other three stands will also remain on sale right up until kick-off.

Flag Display

Once again, flags will be available on the concourses of the Alan Kelly Town End, the Bill Shankly Kop and the Sir Tom Finney Family Stand for supporters to take up to their seats.

All fans are encouraged to take part in the displays, however it is essential all flags are returned at the end of the game to where they were picked up from.

Fans who have left the ground with any of the flags in any previous fixtures are also kindly asked to return them to Deepdale.

Half-Time Drink Tokens

As per recent fixtures, drink tokens for half-time alcoholic refreshments will be in use in the Alan Kelly Town End, Invincibles Pavilion and Sir Tom Finney Stand.

Supporters can go to any kiosks in these stands at any time prior to kick-off, and pre-order and pay for their alcoholic drinks for half-time. Fans will receive a token in return at this point, which they can present at half-time at the designated collection points.

Supporters in the Invincibles Pavilion can collect from Kiosk 7i, located on the right side of the concourse near the Kop.

There are two collection points in the Alan Kelly Town End: collection point green, which is located next to the central stairwell, and collection point yellow, which is located at the beer bar between the two double kiosks.

Fans in the Sir Tom Finney Stand can also get their drink tokens, either from collection point purple, which is located at the south side of the stand, or from collection point white at the north side.

Refreshments Service For Disabled Supporters

Those supporters situated on the disabled platforms, and disabled fans on the front row of each stand, are able to place orders before the match for half-time.

Members of staff from Heathcote&Co will come to these supporters to place orders which will be delivered shortly before half-time. Please note, this service excludes alcohol sales due to no alcoholic beverages being allowed inside the stadium bowl.

Please also note, only cash payments can be made for our refreshments service for disabled supporters.

Reporting Abuse, Discrimination & Anti-Social Behaviour

Supporters who witness or hear any abuse, discrimination or anti-social behaviour while at Deepdale can report the incident using the club’s text service.

Fans can text 66777 and messages must start with ‘PNE’ followed by details of the incident. An example of how to use this service can be found below:

“PNE I’m in the Alan Kelly Town End, row 10, seat 34. Male sitting directly in front of me shouting racist abuse.”

All incidents can be reported to the club by email on enquiries@pne.com, but fans are strongly advised to use this text service at the time to allow these matters to be dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible.
