Preston North End defender Liam Lindsay has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for August.
The Scottish centre half played in every minute of PNE’s six league matches in August, providing a key contribution to the team which didn’t concede or lose in Championship action throughout the month.
Liam showed his dominance in the air and willingness to put his body on the line to ensure his side didn't concede, and his performance in the home game against Rotherham United resulted in him being named the EPIC Risk Management man of the match.
Liam is up against Hull City’s Óscar Estupiñán, Rotherham United's Richard Wood and Sunderland’s Ross Stewart, with the winner of the award set to be announced on Friday 9th September.
