Daniel Johnson thought Preston North End were “excellent from start to finish” in their Good Friday victory over Queens Park Rangers.
PNE left the capital with all three points after Tom Cannon scored a second-half brace to secure back-to-back victories for North End.
Speaking to iFollow, DJ said: “We were excellent from start to finish. I thought we were on the front foot, played some really good football and we dealt with all their threats to be fair.
“In the second half I thought we were excellent to be fair, so I’ve only got praise for us today.
“They’ve not been on a good run of from, but all we can do is just concentrate on us really.
“We didn’t really focus on what they could do today; it was all about us.
“That was the gameplan, it was all about what we could do, just come here to pick up three points and we did that.”
The win has put Ryan Lowe’s side in a promising position heading into the final six games of the season.
PNE sit just two points outside of the Play-Off spots ahead of a home game on Easter Monday against Reading, who are fighting for points at the opposite end of the division.
Asked if he is thinking about the top six, DJ said: “No, if I’m being honest.
“I think we’ve just got to keep taking it game by game as we’re doing and just see where it takes us.
“We’ve got another game coming on Monday and then Saturday, then Wednesday, then Saturday, so the games are coming thick and fast, but we’ve just got to go game by game.
“I know everyone’s looking at the table now thinking, ‘They’ve got a really good chance’, but we’ve just got to stay grounded and keep working hard with the amount of games we’ve got left.
“We’ll take it game by game and just see where it takes us.”
