The new Preston North End fan zone, The Gentry Bar, will open at our Easter Monday fixture against Reading!
Over the course of the past few months, tireless work has gone into creating what we hope will be a fantastic, permanent fan zone for our supporters to be able to enjoy on home matchdays.
Inside The Gentry Bar, supporters will find a fitted bar with a selection of beverages on draught – with a full list to be found below, including a special cask ale, Gentry Pale Ale! Please note, only card payments are accepted at the bar.
There is also plenty of comfortable seated areas, bespoke Preston North End wall art, special bowler hat light fittings, free Wi-Fi and much more!
Another special feature of The Gentry Bar is a series of unseen memorabilia on the walls of the fan zone – including the boots worn by Graham Alexander on his famous last appearance in senior football, when he scored an incredible free-kick in front of the Town End.
The Gentry Bar will be able to hold up to 545 people, which is around 200 more than the temporary marquee, which has served as a fan zone for almost two years.
Also inside The Gentry Bar, there will be live entertainment prior to kick-off, with Kev Kendal providing music before the match against Reading.
Outside of the fan zone, there will be three food vehicles, selling burgers, hot dogs and ice cream, and supporters are welcome to bring food purchased from these outlets into The Gentry Bar.
Doors will open to fans from 12 noon on Monday 10th April, while there will be an official opening at 1pm, with North End players Ali McCann and Emil Riis set to cut the ribbon before heading inside for a Q&A session.
Full drinks selection:
Birra Moretti (pitchers available)
Neck Oil (pitchers available)
Strongbow Dark Fruit (pitchers available)
Gentry Pale Ale (special cask ale)
Wine, Bitter and Cider
