As we approach the beginning of the 2023/24 season, we are once again looking forward to welcoming our supporters back to Deepdale and having you travel away from home with us.
It’s always fantastic to see our supporters wanting to engage with players at matches, and vice versa, however fans should be aware before the first match of the season that players have been instructed not to give any kit away to supporters.
This is because the players will wear an ‘elite performance’ shirt which is different to the one which retails, therefore these cannot be replaced.
We felt it was important to let supporters know this before our first match so no fans – particularly our young supporters – are left disappointed.
As always, we do not wish to restrict chances for our young supporters to meet their role models, but there will be opportunities throughout the season for them to do so.
