The extent of the injury which forced Robbie Brady off on Friday night will be assessed ahead of this fixture.

Liam Millar – who replaced the Irishman in Swansea and got on the scoresheet – will no doubt be pushing for a start, while Dai Cornell will be wanting to keep his place in goal after making his first Championship start for the club.

Long-term absentee Emil Riis will be missing again, as his return date has been marked for the New Year.

Opposition Focus

Leeds United will arrive at Deepdale full of confidence after a huge 4-0 win against fellow promotion contenders Ipswich Town.

The Yorkshire outfit – back in the Championship for the first time since 2020 – have really hit their stride under Daniel Farke, and will look to close the gap between themselves and the Tractor Boys in second.

There’s no shortage of quality within their ranks, with Crysencio Summerville and Joël Piroe responsible for almost half of the team’s goals, while Farke’s side have the second tightest defence in the division.

A Recent Clash

PNE were forced to settle for a point against Leeds United on Boxing Day in 2019, as Alan Browne’s superb goal was cancelled out in the 89th minute.

Follow The Action

This match can be watched live on Sky Sports, however due to the TV selection, it will be unavailable on iFollow in the majority of regions.

Fans around the world can listen as usual, though, with match and monthly passes both on sale. Guy Clarke and Andy Fensome are on commentary duty.

You can also follow extensive coverage across the club’s social media channels and here on the website.
