Preston North End’s 2023/24 Championship fixtures have been confirmed, with the season getting underway with a trip to Bristol City.
North End will head to Ashton Gate to face the Robins on Saturday 5th August, and PNE will then return to Deepdale for the first home league match of the season, hosting Sunderland – the last visitors to PR1 – on Saturday 12th August.
The first derby of the season against Blackburn Rovers will take place at Ewood Park on Saturday 11th November, with the return fixture at Deepdale falling on Saturday 17th February.
North End’s festive period will begin in South Wales as they take on Swansea City on Saturday 23rd December before returning to Deepdale for a double header.
Leeds United will be the visitors on Boxing Day, before fellow Yorkshiremen Sheffield Wednesday arrive on Friday 29th December for a 7.45pm kick-off.
The Lilywhites will then open 2024 with a trip to the Stadium of Light to take on Sunderland, on Monday 1st January.
Good Friday (29th March) will see PNE take on Rotherham United at home, prior to an Easter Monday (1st April) trip to face Birmingham City.
The final home game of the season will be against newly-relegated Leicester City on Saturday 27th April, before North End finish the regular campaign against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Saturday 4th May.
