Preston North End will host a Deepdale double header after Christmas, with home matches on Boxing Day and 29th December respectively.
In the final game prior to Christmas, North End will make the journey to South Wales to take on Swansea City on Saturday 23rd December.
PNE will then return home to host newly-relegated Leeds United at Deepdale on Boxing Day.
It’s not the first time the two sides have met on Boxing Day in recent years, having faced off against each other on 26th December in both 2016 and 2019.
Three days on from that festive clash, fellow Yorkshire side Sheffield Wednesday will arrive at Deepdale on Friday 29th December in the final match of 2023.
North End will then see in the new year at the Stadium of Light, facing Sunderland on Monday 1st January.
