North End midfielder Ali McCann has been included in the Northern Ireland squad for their upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 qualifiers against Denmark and Kazakhstan.
Michael O’Neill’s team first travel to Copenhagen to take on Denmark on Friday 16th June before a home fixture against Kazakhstan in Belfast on Monday 19th June.
The 23-year-old returns to the national team squad after missing the first set of qualifiers against San Marino and Finland in March due to injury.
The PNE man returned to action towards the latter stages of the 2022/23 season after overcoming his injury and will now be looking to add to the eight caps he has gained since his debut in 2020.
