Preston North End would like to remind supporters that smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted inside Deepdale.
The club have received several complaints in recent weeks from concerned supporters, stating their discomfort and worries about the potential effects of vape smoke, which is affecting their matchday experience.
The club’s ground regulations state that “EFL stadia are smoke-free and smoking or the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted inside the Ground.”
As a club, we hope sanctions would not be necessary, although anyone found in breach of ground regulations could be subject to ejection from the stadium.
Supporters wishing to smoke at Deepdale can do so in the half-time smoking zone, where the Alan Kelly Town End meets the Sir Tom Finney Stand.
