Ryan Lowe felt his Preston North End side were fantastic in their 2-1 away victory against Rotherham United.
North End extended their unbeaten run to seven matches with the win in South Yorkshire, which came courtesy of goals from strikers Tom Cannon and Ched Evans.
Cannon opened the scoring midway through the first half before PNE were pegged back, but the side in yellow then went back ahead thanks to a superb strike from Evans in stoppage time at the end of the opening period.
PNE came out firing after the break, too, but couldn’t find a third, although it wasn’t to matter as they kept the door shut at the other end.
Speaking after the match, Ryan said: “I’m pleased for them. They’ve been fantastic, their attitude and application – which I keep repeating and saying – is different class, I must say.
“To go seven unbeaten now with the games we’ve had – the performances, the goals, every single one of them.
“We’ve always had that togetherness but it feels now that we’ve reunited now together a little bit more and it feels now like we’ve got that feeling of 'just keep going'.
“We want to keep winning the next ones and keep performing for the next one, and that’s certainly what they’re doing.
“Credit to the group because we put the gameplans to them and they’ve been fantastic in executing it, and I thought we were well worthy of more goals to be honest.
“I think they threw the kitchen sink at us of course at the end which they’re going to do.
“They’re fighting for their lives, they’re fighting for points, but we withstood that and we were solid and resolute so it was a fantastic away performance. Excellent.”
