With both the first team and the youth team without a game this Saturday, get down to one of our local sides and celebrate Non-League Day.
The event – which takes place each season during an international break – is used as an opportunity for supporters of Premier League and Football League clubs to support their local non-league sides.
Non-League Day is once again teaming up with Prostate Cancer UK, to raise vitally important funds and lifesaving awareness.
There are plenty of games going on in the surrounding areas of Preston, while you can also turn your focus to one of our players out on loan.
Aaron Bennett, Finlay Cross-Adair and Lewis Coulton could all feature for their loan clubs.
Bennett, in his second spell with National League side Altrincham, will be hoping to gain more minutes as Alty welcome Southend United for a 3pm kick-off.
Cross-Adair, who started and scored for Bamber Bridge last weekend, will look to net again in a trip to Nantwich Town on Saturday – again, with a kick-off time of 3pm.
Elsewhere, Bradford (Park Avenue) – Coulton’s loan side – are in action at home, hosting Buxton and looking to earn a valuable three points as they try to escape relegation.
There is also plenty of action going on much closer to Deepdale this weekend, including at Euxton Villa, Lancaster City and many more.
