Preston North End supporters are being given the opportunity to add the name of loved ones connected to the club, who are sadly no longer with us, to the brand new Gentry Wall.
The Gentry Wall will be situated in the new fan zone, The Gentry Bar, on the blue wall to the left of the bar, beside Alan Ball Sr’s quote: ‘Preston fans are the best. They’re the Gentry.’
The idea of the wall is to create a lasting legacy for those Preston North End supporters who have sadly passed away, by displaying their names inside the fan zone.
The Gentry Wall will be made up of transparent, high-quality plaques, which will feature each person’s name in gold text – as pictured above.
Plaques are available for supporters to purchase for £49.99 each. Please note, only names can be displayed on the plaques, with space not allowing for any extra text.
As well as adding a plaque to the wall, supporters can also order a replica plaque for £29.99 as a special memento to keep for themselves. These plaques will be for collection-only from the ticket office, and supporters will be contacted once they are ready to pick up.
Plaques can be ordered in person from the ticket office, over the phone on 0344 856 1966 and online from www.mypne.com now. When buying online, supporters are advised to log in first so these can be easily added to your basket.
The plaques are available to buy until 30th June 2023, which will allow the club time to process all orders and ensure the Gentry Wall is ready for the opening home game of the Championship season.
