Milutin Osmajić scored for Montenegro on Thursday evening to help his country win 3-2 against Lebanon.
The North End striker came on as a 61st-minute substitute in the international friendly and put his side 3-1 up just eight minutes after his introduction.
A pass from a Lebanese midfielder back towards his defence was intercepted by PNE’s No.28, who showed tremendous pace to knock it past a defender and then the goalkeeper before smashing home from just a few yards out.
The visitors threatened a late comeback by halving the deficit in the 80th minute, but Montenegro held on for the victory.
Milutin’s goal is only his second for his country, following the first back in March 2022 against Greece.
Montenegro are next in action on Tuesday 17th October when they face Serbia away from home at 7.45pm.
Elsewhere, Liam Millar and Alan Browne could feature for their nations on Friday against Japan and Greece respectively.
