Mikey O’Neill has joined National League North outfit Southport on loan until 6th January 2024.
The 19-year-old forward, who has made eight senior appearances for Preston North End, will go straight into contention to feature for Jim Bentley’s side in their home match against Scarborough Athletic on Tuesday evening.
Mikey – a professional at PNE since 2022 – spent the second half of last season out on loan with Sky Bet League Two side Grimsby Town, and will now look to gain further experience with Southport.
