Preston North End are delighted to reveal a limited edition shirt in memory of Sir Tom Finney, which will be worn by the first team later this month.
The shirt will be worn in the Sky Bet Championship fixture against Middlesbrough at Deepdale on Wednesday 14th February – the tenth anniversary of Sir Tom’s passing.
Incorporating a ‘splash’ design, the shirt is inspired by a famous photo taken at Stamford Bridge in 1956, which a statue at Deepdale is based on.
Underneath the neck collar on the back of the shirt reads ‘Sir Tom Finney’ and also features the great man’s stats for his only club: 472 appearances and 210 goals.
The shirt – which will be worn with the 2023/24 home shorts and socks for the Middlesbrough fixture – are available to buy both from the shop at Deepdale and online.
There are only a limited number of shirts on sale and once they're gone, they're gone!
Each shirt is priced at £70 for adults and £55 for juniors, with £10 of every sale going to the Preston branch of the Alzheimer’s Society.
Shirts are available in women’s (8 to 20), men’s (S to 5XL) and junior (XS to XL) sizes.
