Who’s Available?

Duane Holmes, Freddie Woodman and Milutin Osmajić are all back involved after missing last Sunday’s match against Leeds United.

Jack Whatmough will be absent through injury again, however he is back training with the group and should be able to return the following weekend at home to Ipswich Town. Ched Evans will also miss out as he looks to strengthen his hamstrings.

Skipper Alan Browne could become the 13th player to reach 400 appearances for PNE this weekend, and would be the second youngest to reach this tally.

Opposition Focus

Millwall will be looking to get back on track following three successive defeats, which were preceded by three victories in a row.

Those wins came as part of a five-match unbeaten run which looked to be the turning point for new head coach Joe Edwards, who was appointed in November, following a mixed start to life at The Den.

Edwards – formerly of Chelsea, Everton and England – was left disappointed with their previous outing in a derby day defeat to Queens Park Rangers, saying they weren’t good enough in “pretty much every department”.

A Recent Clash

In the reverse fixture in October 2023, Mads Frøkjær’s early goal was cancelled out by Zian Flemming as the points were shared at Deepdale.
